Audio

GBI specialise in the supply and install of bespoke sound systems to suit your facilities. Whether you are looking for installation of simple audio sockets, or maybe high-end speaker systems we can provide you with the perfect solution.

We’ve installed audio systems into a variety of different settings including churches, cafés, bars, schools and hospitals. Ask us about other digital solutions including Bluetooth enabled, wall mounted or ceiling speakers and amplifiers, mixers and more, as well as installations into rack mounts in steel/wooden cabinets.

Small Classrooms/Meeting Rooms

A typical small room audio system would suit a wall mounted 40watt digital amplifier connected to two wall or ceiling mounted speakers. Alternatively, a soundbar is ideal to sit above or below an interactive screen/monitor.

Larger Rooms/Training Rooms

A larger room would suit a 120-watt amplifier with 4 wall/ceiling mounted speakers. A small mixing desk could be added so that a couple of microphones can be used – either wireless or hardwired.

Hall/Lecture Theatres

A typical hall/lecture theatre would suit a 240-watt amplifier (or more powerful) with 4 or more larger wall mounted speakers. Add in a large mixing desk so that multiple microphones can be used. All equipment could be housed in wood/steel lockable cabinets, which have the option to fix to a wall or wheel away on castors when not in use.

Public Address & Tannoy Systems

A very popular system in any organisation and a highly effective way of communicating information, warnings and alerts to a large area or specific group of people. We have installed these systems into schools who use the system to play soothing music throughout the school all day long and Christmas Carols in December! A standard system consists of a 120-watt amplifier connected to a gooseneck microphone with multiple internal and external speakers.

Multi-Room System

Another very popular system that is used in various organisations; offices, restaurants, hairdressers, beautician’s – anywhere really. A Zonal Amplifier is used that can control up to six areas, with multiple speakers in each area, and each area can be individually volume controlled. A microphone can be connected to quickly and easily contact anyone in the building – or outside if using external speakers. Connect your iPhone/iPod easily and allow staff to take it in turns to listen to their playlist.
